Looking for better efficiency?
Recommended Services include an annual maintenance and check.

This is recommended by the Arizona Heat Pump Council as well as Salt River Project and A.P.S.

They, along with the manufacturers of your cooling system, know how important it is to maintain the system for proper efficiency and cleanliness.

If your electric bill seems high in the summer months, you may need a basic maintenance, which could include adding refrigerant to the system, cleaning the coils to allow for proper airflow and / or a combination of both.

This is a basic and common practice with residential air conditioning or heat pump systems. When your system can't produce an efficient cooling process, it will run longer and provide less cooling. Have your system checked at least once a year to keep those electric bills at bay, and keep the home comfortable.
Tune up of your cooling system should be performed at least once a year.
The average life span of an air conditioner is from 10 -15 years. the system tune up can help prolong the systems life.
A split system condensing unit, usually located in the rear or side of the home  can be either a heat pump or an Air Conditioner .

It should be clear of debris and be able to flow air well from the fan discharge. This should be checked at least once a year. Usually the spring months are the best time for a tune up, however, weather permitting, we can check the air conditioner performance almost year round. 70 degrees or higher is recommended for checking the system performance.

The indoor blower or furnace will be located inside the garage, hallway closet or attic of your home. This should be checked as well.

Changing the filters is the most important task you can do as a homeowner. Each month, check and replace if dirty.

Setting your thermostat at 78-82 degrees is a standard for the summer months and will give you the best overall performance.

Refrigerant, often referred to as Freon, can and should be added to the system if needed. ONLY as needed. Too much refrigerant can lower the performance of your system. Too low an amount can cause the same thing, low cooling effect, high electric bills and icing of the coil or refrigerant lines.
This can also cause failure of the compressor, which is the main unit within your cooling system.

Maintenance is the key for prolonging the life of your system, as well as keeping it running efficiently.

We provide maintenance tune ups for residential heating and air conditioning systems.
